Audi Pixel Repairs
On the Audi A3, A4, A6 the information lcd becomes unreadable over time the actual defect is the pixels that make up the information displayed on the lcd. This is a very common problem its not related to a lose ribbon cable or the circuitboard design but the lcd screen it's self.
The above image shows the defect, we will replace the LCD display to a brand new one which is specially designed for the Audi, Vw range of cars, as shown below. Prices start from £150.
BMW/ Range Rover Pixel Repairs
BMW 5 series, 7 series ,X5 from 1996-2003 all have the common dissapering pixels on the large lcd display that shows valuable data such as the mileage and the on board computer messages. The problem lies with the ribbon that connects the lcd to the circuitboard, and also the lcd screen. NOTE: The Range Rover , Vogue , HSE use a similar speedometer to the BMW.
We will replace the lcd and ribbon bringing back the display to show 100% of the pixels, thus eleminating the problem and saving cost. A new BMW dashboard cost over £400 plus, not including programming and mileage correction. The newely designed LCD and ribbon are shown below. Prices start from £180.
Mercedes Pixel Repairs
Mercedes Pixel repair service for Mercedes E, C class and CLK - Temp,Time and gear screens , ODO mileage screens on C class. A common problem where the LCD displays with the typical missing or faded pixels.
The probelm again lies with the lcd and ribbon cable that connects it to the circuitboard. We have designed a new lcd that alimanates the use of a ribbon cable thus providing a much better connection, shown below. Prices start from £150.
Please note all speedometer clusters are fully rebuilt and checked for other possible problems which may occur in the future within the quoted price. If you where to replace a new cluster you will need to program the keys and mileage, the cost will add up. All repairs come with a full manufacturers equivalent warranty of 3 years.
